Sampling
Visual inspection without intervention on parts. The goal is to separate conforming from non-conforming. Every NG part goes directly to scrap — no recovery attempt is made.

- Ideal for lots where recovery cost does not justify the effort
- OK / NG count report at closing
Full Inspection
Visual inspection with a recovery mindset. When a part shows a correctable defect, it is intervened before being declared NG. The goal is to maximize usable material from the lot.
- Visual inspection + recoverability assessment per part
- On-site recovery of parts with correctable defects
- Only parts with no viable solution go to scrap
- Ideal for high-value parts or material shortage situations
- OK / recovered / scrap report with defect detail
